inSight is uSwitch’s data product – we help energy suppliers and those in uSwitch understand customers in the energy market by unlocking the wealth of data at our disposal. Our small multi-disciplined product team work around a rapidly developing product, making data more accessible across uSwitch, enabling us to get involved with a range of exciting projects.
We’re a small collaborative team, and you’ll form an integral part of that. You’ll be working alongside other analysts, product people, our development team and commercial people to help us drive value from our data.

Your role;

• Working alongside our other analyst you’ll design and develop bespoke research pieces to solve a range of problems from our partners and within uSwitch

• Using technologies such as redshift and BigQuery you’ll have your hands on all of our user and market data to enable you to tackle a range of  interesting questions

• You’ll have the freedom to sink your teeth into a range of problems and creativity to solve them in innovative ways. We’re looking for someone to help us tackle a range of problems and help us push the boundaries of what we can do with our data

• You’ll be autonomous and able to manage your own workload – but with a strong support network around you from your immediate team and the wider analyst community at uSwitch

• A key part of this role is to communicate your findings to internal & external stakeholders – you’ll be the voice of your work

 

uSwitch – Who are we?

uSwitch is an impartial comparison and switching service. We help compare prices on gas & electricity, home phone, broadband, digital television, mobile phones and personal finance products including mortgages, credit cards, current accounts and insurance.  Our aim is to help customers take advantage of the best prices and services on offer from suppliers so they can get their best deal.

As well as offering online and telephone-based comparison, Energy customers also have the option to create an account to automatically monitor the market and notify them when they can move to a cheaper tariff – making future comparisons even simpler and faster. Our Broadband speed test tool also helps customers find out how fast their broadband is and to identify the best broadband provider for their postcode.

We’re based in London near London Bridge and Southwark Bridge and can boast a scenic view from our office of some amazing buildings such as the Shard, the Cheese Grater, Walkie-Talkie and the Gherkin.
