Credit Risk Analyst (Permanent, full-time)
Location: Cardiff, Wales.
We have a great opportunity for a Credit Risk Analyst to join our expanding Risk team. This role would suit an ambitious new graduate or someone seeing a first move into credit risk.
The successful applicant will build models and utilise analytical tools to explore credit risk and customer behaviour. You will build and maintain models and associated applications to enable the business to make informed strategic credit risk decisions. You will have previously developed a modelling system or tool, possibly as part of your studies.
You will have experience of software development principles and statistical modelling techniques and be adept in using at least one modern programming language, ideally R, Python or C#.
A relevant degree and/or demonstrable experience working in data analytics is a must.

Optimum Credit Ltd is a Cardiff based provider of second charge (secured) loans in England, Scotland and Wales, authorised and regulated under interim permission by the Financial Conduct Authority. We are owned by Patron Capital Partners, and have been awarded significant grant funding by the Welsh Assembly Government in relation to our headcount growth plans.
