Full-Time Manager / Lead – Analytics
Job Description ->
Developing and Leading a team of Analysts.
Engaging with customer teams to identify & understand business requirements, products offered, outcome events to be used for predictive modeling.
Performing detailed analysis of data availability and corresponding ability/limitations to analytics.
Working with the data integration teams to make data available for analytics.
Installing and configuring the analytics components of the solution.
Developing predictive models based on customer requirements.
Validating model performance and presenting model results to customers.
Deploying models and scheduling regular scoring processes.
Train customer teams to use the analytics solution.
Support customer teams through the model lifecycle onsite and remotely.
Work closely with the business development team for effective farming of existing customer accounts and hunting new accounts.
Candidate Profile ->
Hands on with working experience on R and SAS ; in depth knowledge of various statistical techniques and other BI and Visualization tools.
Hands on experience in Mathematical /Statistical Modeling.
Strong background in machine learning, data mining.
Should have rich hands-on experience in predictive analytics, forecasting techniques, customer behavior, web analytics, social media analytics, digital & big data analytics, statistical modeling and analysis techniques such as regression analysis, hypothesis testing, multivariate statistical analysis, time series techniques, optimization techniques and statistical packages such as SAS or R .
Proven expertise in at least 2 of the following: generalized linear models, probabilistic graphical models, latent variable models, time-series model, real-time learning.
Experience using MS-Excel, MS-Access and SQL.
Strong programming experience in at least 1 of the following: Java, Python, Perl, and at least one of the following: Matlab, R, SPSS, SAS, KNIME, RapidMiner.
Experience working with real-world large-scale, high dimensional data sets.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Expert-level knowledge (3+ years) of database systems (Oracle or SQL Server; Mongo, or other NoSQL experience is a plus).
Hands-on experience with the Hadoop stack (MapReduce Programming Paradigm, HBase, Pig, Hive, Sqoop) and/or key-value technologies such as Cassandra is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills and enthusiastic about learning new tools and technologies.
Knowledge of Social Media Analytics including Text and Sentiments analytics will be an added advantage.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skill, entrepreneur mindset.
Working Hours: 9 Hours per day with 5 days a week (Should be flexible to work in 24 X 7 Work Environment).
