As R&D Database Developer, the candidate will be responsible for design, development and maintenance of the various R&D data stores as well as collaborating with the BI team on the Enterprise Data Warehouse and related components (ETL, reporting applications, etc.). This involves taking data from many internal and external sources, merging, cleaning, automating, and maintaining data integrity.
In order to be suitable for this role, you must:
Have 4+ years of Data Warehouse/BI work experience using MS BI Technologies (SQL Server/SSIS/etc).
Have either 2+ years of R programming experience, primarily focused on reporting and visualization or solid working experience in Mongo DB.
Have strong and current database programming skills with MS SQL Server 2012 and above.
Have exceptional TSQL skills and performance tuning abilities.
Have experience in using SQL profiler, reading execution plans, etc.
Able to legally work in Canada – more specifically our Toronto Office.
This is a key role within the team and would suit someone with solid BI/DW, Mongo DB background as well as programming experience in R.
