Senior Credit Risk and Business Intelligence Analyst (Permanent, full-time)
Location: Cardiff, Wales.
We have a great opportunity for a Senior Credit Risk and Business Intelligence Analyst to join our expanding Risk team.
The successful candidate will support the Risk Director to develop, maintain and monitor Optimum’s credit risk and pricing models. You will monitor portfolio performance and recommend changes to criteria and pricing, whilst building strong working relationship both within the Risk team and the wider business.
You will have extensive experience in the use of statistical models to drive pricing decisions, and in the preparation of business intelligence and analytics. You will be comfortable with mathematical or statistical programming tools, preferably R. A relevant degree is an essential qualification, and additional qualifications in business intelligence, databases or statistics are desirable.

Optimum Credit Ltd (Optimum) is a Cardiff based provider of second charge (secured) loans in England, Scotland and Wales, authorised and regulated under interim permission by the Financial Conduct Authority. We are owned by Patron Capital Partners, and have been awarded significant grant funding by the Welsh Assembly Government in relation to our headcount growth plans.

Established in 2013, we wrote our first loan in June 2014, and we have grown significantly month-on-month since then, with our route to market through our network of loan broker partners.
