R developer / data visualization programmer

I am currently a 3rd year PhD candidate at the University of Adelaide. I am working on assessing the impact of climate change on water systems through various hydrological processes, including evapotranspiration and precipitation. I have developed a high level of programming skills during my postgraduate research, which is largely focused on R and Fortran languages.

I have developed an open-sourced R package to implement multiple evapotranspirtion models (https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/Evapotranspiration/index.html), which have been widely used across the global for applications such as multi-model comparisons and model uncertainty assessments.

I have also developed great interest and substantial skills in building interactive R-shiny-based applications for teaching and research communication purposes. A sample of my work can be seen at: https://ddaisy.shinyapps.io/App-1/ , which is an interactive tool to test the sensitivity of evapotranspiration to changing climate.

In addition, I have rich experiences utilizing R language for a range of hydrology-related applications including rainfall-runoff modelling, sensitivity analysis, uncertainly analysis, statistical analysis and optimization.
