I am a professional statistician with more than 15 years of experience analyzing data. I started my career in Academia as an assistant professor at UT Houston-School of Public Health and then Michigan Tech University. There I gained experience collaborating with researchers in diverse fields like Medicine, Education, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering and Bio-mechanics.
I have worked for Beaumont Health System, in Michigan, and for Baylor Scott and White Health, in Texas. These experiences have provided me with ample expertise in the analysis of clinical studies. Some of the medical areas I have worked on are: anesthesiology, cardiology, infectious diseases, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology and chronic diseases.
I have experience in submitting grants to NIH, CDC and NSF and I am a reviewer for PCORI, the Lancet Psychiatry, and the Journal of Interventional Cardiology, among others.
