– Experience working on a collaborative research project in the social sciences or statistics
– Ph.D. in statistics or social science
– Commitment to the open science movement and to open source software development.

The position is for a two-year term, though it may be extended contingent on funding. For the right candidate who holds or is about to hold a Ph.D., this position may be set up as a postdoctoral fellowship.
