Senior Data Scientist – Marketing Analytics – 70% Remote Contract

Spend Your time building models and not data wrangling.

Ever get the feeling that your freelance job is about doing the stuff that the client doesn’t want to do themselves?

Stuff like Data Cleansing or Data Management.

In this job you’ll spend 70% of your time doing what Data Scientists are supposed to be doing.

Building predictive models and researching the latest methods to solve the problem.  

The other 30%?  

You can’t escape it completely I am afraid, so you’ll have to spend some time in the data preparation phase.

You’ll be working on challenging health sector sales and marketing datasets.  These are much more complex than standard retail or ecommerce data.

You’ll need to have the following experience and skills:

Minimum 2 years in a commercial environment.

• Can code in R or Python.
• Machine Learning experience.
• Big Data methods such as mapreduce and Parallel computing.
• Solid knowledge of Classical Statistical methods.
• Based in the EU with a work VISA already in place.

Negotiable day rates depending on skill level and seniority.
