Job Description

This is a temporary position for a 4 week period starting 11/6.  Hourly rate will be agreed with the selected candidate.  Please provide details of your requirements.

Candidate must be based in the US.  Position is office based in Florham Park NJ, but we may consider (local) home based with some travel to the office.

Candidate should hold at least 2 years of R experience, and possess the specific areas of analysis that will be used in the project as detailed below:

• Pull data from Database (should be able to write basic queries)
• Descriptive Statistics
• Assessing Outliers & Influential Observations
• Logarithmic and Square Root Transformations
• Basic Plots – Dot Plot/Box Plot/Histograms
• Frequency Tables
• Shapiro Test
• Chi-square test of independence  for Categorical variables
• Correlations/Covariances for Numeric Variables
• Factor Analysis
• Evaluate Collinearity
• Multiple Linear Regression & Cross Validation
• Variable Selection – Stepwise Regression, All Subsets Regression etc.
• Regression Diagnostics
• Re-calculate weights for existing formulas
• Explain clearly the meaning of the weights, why some of the variables included or eliminated
• Re-work on the weights until the business analysts are satisfied with the calculated values
