Full-Time Statistical Data Analyst for analyzing wireless networks

Job Description

We’re creating a comprehensive database of cell phone towers, cell phone signal strength readings, and Wi-Fi access points around the world. Our goal is to become the global authority on wireless networks. We publish analysis regularly covered by The BBC, The Guardian, Gigaom, The Verge and much more. We also deliver reports to network operators around the world that help them improve experience for users.

We’re looking for someone with a mathematical/statistical background and a passion for data who will seek out interesting correlations and run our regular reports. Whether you’re a seasoned data scientist or a recent grad, we’d be interested to hear from you.

Desirable attributes:

  • Knowledge of R.
  • Meticulous with your analysis.
  • Ability to think creatively, to find new insights in our ever-expanding datasets.
  • Flair for data visualization welcomed.
